<p>Lessons Mon-Friday</p> <p>Monday - new vocabulary (pre-teach).<br /> Tuesday - Read text in groups/partners and find new vocabulary<br /> Wednesday - Whole class questions - for teacher modelling<br /> Thursday - Independent questions based on previous questions<br /> Friday - extension of independent questions on new part of text.</p> <p>Scaffolding for year 4 gradually removed over the course of the lessons to ensure progression and independent learning.</p>

Talk or write sentences with new vocab.<br /> Wednesday- Text to read as class, groups or individuals.<br /> Thursday - Questions for whole class (based on KS2 Question Stems) - for specific modelling<br /> Friday - Individual questions based on those done earlier in the week.</p> <p>All resources included. Appropriate for Y4 level children.</p>
