<p>This is a set of lessons and resources to teach diary writing to Year 3. All of the lessons are flipcharts and the resources are almost all word-based. You may want to supplement with some grammar lessons depending on the needs of your class.</p>

<p>The idea is that children will complete the first row at the beginning of the course or programme of study and then the second row at the end and the final row a month later.</p> <p>You could reward prizes for accurate retrieval but remember to keep it low-stakes.</p>
