<p>This resource is used to assess children’s understanding of the Working Towards statements in the maths framework.</p> <p>They have been used successfully as evidence for End of Key Stage 1 moderation.</p>

<p>Maths moderation sheets for Ks1 (Y1/2). This resource is to be used by senior leaders to moderate teacher assessment in Ks1.</p> <p>This resource is to be completed by a child, whilst supervised by an adult. There is a selection of National Curriculum objectives for the children to apply their knowledge to. From this, senior leaders will be able to moderate teacher assessments to say whether they agree to a child being on track to be Below, Working Towards, ARE or GD.</p>

<p>This resource is a collection of examples of mathematical vocabulary. Each morning the children are given a new ‘Word of the Day’. They use the examples and non examples to work out what the word it.</p> <p>This children really enjoy looking carefully at the examples, whilst pulling from their maths knowledge to decide what the examples are of.</p>

<p>This resource is used for teacher assessment. Each task is carefully designed to check a child’s understanding of a selection of maths objectives.</p> <p>This has been hugely successful from Years 1-6. The aim of the resource is to inform teacher assessment and identify children’s/groups of children’s gaps in knowledge.</p>
