<p>This Power Point focuses on 3 different types of poetry:</p> <ol> <li>Rhyming poetry</li> <li>Alliteration poetry</li> <li>Repetition poetry: Anaphora</li> </ol> <p>Lots of active tasks for the pupils to stimulate thinking and engagement.<br /> I used this Power Point to discuss the three different types of poetry before moving on to the main task (group work) where the pupils where split into three different teams to make a whole class collaborative poem. I have had many compliments on this workbook and thought it would be great to share with other teachers.</p> <p>It is an active workbook that can be completed independently or in pairs.<br /> At the end, it has the opportunity for pupils to create their own poem focusing on the three they have learned about.</p>
