<p>A 34 page revision guide for Edexcel GCSE History - Medicine in britain 1250 - present. It includes a revision checklist, and copies of all the past paper questions. Each section is broken down into easy to process chunks of information.</p>

<p>A unit of 5-6 lessons based on the Black Death. Students explore the causes of the disease and the measures taken to prevent and treat it. Students then look at how life changed for the village of Walsham through the works of John Hatcher. Finally they will write their own essays using the work of Simon Schama</p>

<p>A series of 7 lessons focusing on the British Civil Rights movement. Including the Windrush, Bristol Bus Boycott, Mangrove 9, Stephen Lawrence, Notting Hill Riots and the Rivers of Blood Speech. Every lesson starts with a DO NOW and ends with a checkout - which builds towards student’s writing a narrative account.</p>

<p>A 6 lesson unit on the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Student’s learn about the different parts of the slave triangle, building towards writing a narrative account. The lessons use a number of different sources including Olaudah Equiano, Mary Prince and Solomon Northup</p>

<p>A unit of work on Industrial Cities through sources. Students will look at traditional views of industrial cities, before looking at specific examples of Manchester (using Engels) and London (using Booth’s map)</p>

<p>3-4 lessons on injuries and illness on the Western Front using different sources. The first lesson focuses on the types of injury and illness, the second on the role of stretcher bearers, and the final lesson on medical improvements. Each lesson uses a number of different sources, to build up student’s analytical skills</p>

<p>A unit introducing the Edexcel American West topic and focusing on the Way of Life of the Native Americans. Each powerpoint has a number of activities and is linked to a workbooklet that students can complete.</p>

<p>3 lessons looking at the events of the murder, causes of the conflict and a judgement on who was most responsible for the death.</p>

<p>A unit of 4-5 lessons exploring medieval life, focusing on villages, the Manor, the farming year and Trial by Ordeals.</p>

<p>7 -10 lessons on the Anglo Saxons for Edexcel GCSE.
