This resource contains 2 different assessments. Assessment 1 contains many past paper questions and amounts to 152 marks while assessment 2 is an extended writing task. Paper 1 can be given as a revision pack of questions, used as an assessment or split into a shorter test. Assessment 2 is a synoptic essay requiring knowledge of both atomic structure and the periodic table and lasts 30 minutes. All questions in paper 1 have been compiled from other resources including mostly past papers. Paper 2 has been written by me. Mark schemes are included for both. This is specifically designed for the Edexcel IGCSE Chemistry (9-1) course and therefore is tailored to content found in topics 1C (Atomic Structure) and 1D (The Periodic Table) of the specification, though it can likely be used for **other exam boards at GCSE chemistry. **

Edexcel IGCSE Biology - Prokaryotes (1.3)

This is a worksheet for specification point 1.3 of the Edexcel IGCSE biology course - Prokaryotic Cells. It covers the differences between eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells, the structure of bacteria as well as the required examples (Lactobacillus and Pneumoccocus) as well as having math questions on unit conversions. It is fully editable to fit your teaching. Most of the questions (bar a few of the maths ones) have been written by me in a GCSE style so answers cannot be found online and it does not use up past exam questions. This can be used as a worksheet to complete throughout a lesson or as a homework task.
