<p>This learning resource was written in accordance with the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence. It encourages schools to study David Livingstone’s story and legacy as an exciting and relevant Learning for Sustainability topic.</p>
<p>This revised learning resource is designed to inspire and support schools to study the life and legacy of Scotland’s famous missionary, explorer and abolitionist, Dr David Livingstone.</p>
<p>The resource includes links to the Sustainable Development Goals and a section on Mary Livingstone and Gender Equality.</p>
<p>This new resource has been developed as a partnership collaboration between WOSDEC, the ThirdGeneration Project, the Royal Society of Chemistry, Scotdec, and Eco Active Learning, with the assistance of Oxfam through the European Union.</p>
