This Middle or High School Art acrylic painting project is perfect for Valentine’s Day or any day in painting class! This would also be awesome for a home paint night! You can choose to give your students the line art of the painting to trace onto their canvas or have them use the grid and gridded reference to draw their own version of the Valentine’s Day cookie. Four additional photos are also included for students with more experience or who want a challenge!

Students will start by painting transfer their drawing, or the line art, onto their canvas and then start to paint! You can either print the steps or provide them with the steps and reference photo digitally so that they can see the reference photos clearly and in color.
