<p>Hey! This is 4-lessons worth of worksheets for teaching Long Division in Year 6! They worked an absolute treat in my class.</p> <p>Code</p> <p>Practise (S)- questions we did together as a class.<br /> Practise (I)- questions completed independently.</p> <p>Following Maths Mastery, the whole class work on the same question at the same time. Once a child has checked the answer on a calculator, they follow the Dive Deeper approach:</p> <p>Draw something which shows the answer.<br /> Explain how they worked it out.<br /> Make a mistake and explain it.<br /> Tell a Maths story<br /> Prove it.<br /> We go through the answer as a class before everyone moves onto the next question.</p>

<p>Used this with Year 6 children after Sats. It includes:<br /> Interpreting Pie Charts<br /> Drawing Pie Charts<br /> Drawing Circles<br /> Collect + Presenting Data.</p> <p>Haven’t got the worksheets but all the ppt is there for you :)</p>

<p>This is a one off lesson for Year 6 looking at writing their own Limericks.<br /> Although we just said one off, we have taught it over three days.</p> <p>Lesson 1 - Shared write<br /> Lesson 2 - Independent write<br /> Lesson 3 - Publishing</p> <p>Perfect to use at the end of the year.</p>
