Hey! This is 4-lessons worth of worksheets for teaching Long Division in Year 6! They worked an absolute treat in my class.

Code

Practise (S)- questions we did together as a class.
Practise (I)- questions completed independently.

Following Maths Mastery, the whole class work on the same question at the same time. Once a child has checked the answer on a calculator, they follow the Dive Deeper approach:

Draw something which shows the answer.
Explain how they worked it out.
Make a mistake and explain it.
Tell a Maths story
Prove it.
We go through the answer as a class before everyone moves onto the next question.
