<p>This resource is a colourful and fun summary/cheat sheet covering the topic of The Menstrual Cycle at GCSE Biology. This was made to fit the Edexcel specification but would suit any exam board as it covers all important aspects of the topic.</p> <p>This sheet covers the four stages of the menstrual cycle and the four hormones involved with graphs to show their involvement. There is an in-depth reflection on each hormone and how they are linked. An overview of clomifene therapy and IVF (in vitro fetilisation) are covered as two examples of treating infertility which discuss the involvement of hormones. Alongside this, there is also a section on controlling fertility and hormonal methods of contraception.</p> <p>This sheet is made to be colourful, have a distinct layout that is easy to follow and fit all knowledge on this topic onto one sheet meaning that it will be engaging and helpful to student’s learning.</p> <p>It can be used as a handout for students to revise, read aloud in class, or sections could be whited-out so that students must fill in the gaps. This can be a great resource for students to keep and refer back to or could be used as a small exercise at the start of class to recap on knowledge and keep it fresh!</p>

There is an in depth coverage on the pituitary gland, pancreas, thyroid gland, adrenal glands, testes and ovaries.
