The following handout is made to be displayed in classroom, providing brief outlines of the history with dates of each of the world’s major Dharmic and Abrahamic faiths. The Dharmic Timeline includes brief historical context with key dates of each world faith from Hinduism, Jainsim, Buddhism and Sikhism. Providing short and precise concepts from each religion that describes what happened on each date, as well as mentioning the Founders of world faiths such as Buddhism and Sikhism (with Hinduism remaning relativley known until this day). The Abrahamic Timeline also includes short descriptions of what happened on key dates, outlining historical context on Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Providing short mentions to founders and key figures of these faiths. This has been created by an RE Specialist and would be perfect to be laminated and displayed in classrooms, this could also be useful to serve as a handout to introduce topics to children and young people and to serve as an outline when explaining world faith.
