Now added CONTROLLING BLOOD GLUCOSE and REGULATING BLOOD WATER. These cards are designed to print on one piece of paper, fold in half length-ways and trim if necessary (I laminated them for longevity). My year 12 students LOVE THEM!! Always asking for new topics - Oxygen dissociation / affinity NOW ADDED. This really built confidence in their topic knowledge on Gas Exchange surfaces for humans, insects, fish and plants as well as the structure of proteins as a biological molecule (note these don’t cover enzymes as that is a different specification subject that I’m yet to do.) The heart and cardiac cycle runs into year 13 content as well as covers blood and blood vessels. Please comment if you want any more topics, I do enjoy making these! And thank you to the sources of the images where I have used digital pictures.

This resource allows you as the student to review any topic learning from one month, one week and one lesson ago. It relates to homeworks being set and content to look forward to in the future of the topic. Designed with a journalistic view, using metacognitive approaches students can visualise the lesson with doodles and diagrams, different coloured inks and strategies to assess what they can remember. Use in school has expressed great involvement as a Tutor and Reintegration resource, allowing students to recap on content in any topic that they have studied or they can analyse using their own bookwork. Please do leave a feedback comment, this is now a free resource and no copies / versions are to be shared / made saleable from this content. Thank and happy Learning Journaling! An excel document that you can share with students as an electronic worksheet to support students in their A level Biology mathematical skills. Students have a worked example then a chance to work through on their own with guidance throughout to build confidence in the process. Students can check their work within the document. This resource can be used in lesson, or at home preferably on an electronic device that can view MS Excel. It can be printed for students to work through if necessary - for which some formatting may be needed.

FREE JUMANJI ESCAPE ROOM PRINTABLE GAME End of Term

** WITH PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS on the LAST SLIDE!** I have created this PPT for you to use for an end of term task for Year 9/10 as it should take around 30-40 minutes with them. It may take longer / be too challenging for year 7/8 but it is not tested with them in mind. Each ppt slide has a description in the edit mode as to what to do with it. All music and videos are links from Youtube and are embedded or have the youtube link available to play. The context is JUMANJI - THE NEXT LEVEL film, but with puzzles to solve as a team. The teacher leads the puzzles and teams play against each other to solve the tasks first to win the game… The Team who rescues the Falcon JEWEL from the evil Jurgen the Brute. You will need paper, printing, an orange (the Falcon Jewel) a prize for the winning team (Terry’s chocolate orange?) and a paper box to contain the Falcon Jewel. Scissors, printouts per team, laminator use and whiteboard markers. Play it, leave feedback. This is free as it is my first ever escape room designed by myself so it looks a little more basic in structure. Enjoy! “JUMANJIIIIIIIIII!”

An entertaining poster to inspire recall of a key concept for white blood cell function. I designed this myself so I hope it provides a giggle and an inspiring way to remember this. The power of MS Word!
