<p>4 short texts with inference questions to follow. Aims to scaffold making inference by guiding students to look for clues. Would be most suitable for Years 3 & 4 - possibly older for lower ability children.</p>
<p>Year 7 Spanish lesson (for a class who’ve been learning Spanish approx. 1 month) on describing members of their families. Contains intro to vocab (adjectives), 2 games (What’s Missing?, Beat the Teacher (try to catch the class out by saying the wrong word - one point to you if you manage to, one point to them if they say the correct word) and a slide for a Charades game. Also a writing activity.</p>
<p>A bingo game to practise identifying the value of digits in a decimal number. Would work briliantly for year 4. Instructions and Powerpoint included.</p>
<p>Used to introduce a Year 7 Spanish class (term 1) to the topic of family. Introduction to vocabulary and simple writing task. Slide 2/3 was also used to play Beat the Teacher.</p>
<p>Complete year 7 Spanish lesson on extending a short piece of writing. Includes starter, plenary, introduction to connectives and writing task with peer assessment (model answer included). Slide 5 is a differentiated writing task - HA write their own using the one given as a guide, MA change the words underlined, LA same as MA, or translate into English.</p>
<p>Dominos game used in the first week of September with a Year 8 class, to recap vocab learnt in Year7. Could also be used with Year 7s as a group activity to test prior knowledge, or with KS2. Simply cut out and give to group - they need to match up the cards.</p>
<p>Powerpoint for Year 7 class who have just started Spanish. Introduces the vocabulary to describe items in a rucksack and includes a Beat The Teacher game (Slide 5). Teacher to point to picture and say the word, trying to trick the class by saying the wrong word. One point to the teacher if you catch them out, one word to the class if they say the correct word. My Year 7s loved this!</p>
