5 weeks worth of lessons whereby children are put into 4 teams to earn team points.
Lots of fun activity ideas in each lesson to keep the children engaged, as well as smart notebook to record scores and save scores weekly. Easy to use (you don't have to be a PE expert) with equipment list as well.

Really helps to develop morale and engage children who don't normally like PE, especially when they are earning points for their team for trying hard, or encouraging others etc.

Really straight forward grammar lesson whereby children will learn the difference between compound and complex sentences. Later in the lesson children will be using colour coded post it notes (relating to whether they've written a compound or complex sentence) to show they know the difference. Both times I've carried out the lesson, children of all abilities have been very engaged.
Used for my Year 5 class. Each week I present to them a word of the week which they can use in their writing. I display these words on display in the classroom to ensure they're using sophisticated vocabulary in their writing, as well as expose them to new vocabulary. Full, clear definition and an example of the word used in an interesting sentence.
