<p>This resource consists of a French menu which pupils had to read and understand to answer questions on the worksheet. The worksheet has 6 different orders and pupils worked in pairs to add up the bills and give the correct total. It’s a good way of practicing numeracy skills with food.</p>

This resource was originally made to be used at Christmas time but it can be used simply to promote cultural awareness in Spanish-speaking countries. It is primarily a reading activity and each text card is on a different aspect of Christmas in Mexico so the class can be split into groups of 3 or 4 and each group gets a different aspect and the corresponding worksheet. Then pupils are given time to prepare a group presentation on their aspect of Mexican Christmas which they share with the rest of the class (opportunity for peer assessment).

This Spanish worksheet focuses on the importance of understanding synonyms when tackling the GCSE Spanish Reading papers. It practices a variety of adjectives which can also be useful in simply extending descriptions and opinions in Speaking and Writing. (Examples taken from AQA past papers)

<p>This is a Snakes and Ladders style board Game practising daily routine in Spanish. It is an Speaking and Writing activity, easily adapted to suit all abilities and any year group.</p>

<p>This Powerpoint presentation introduces types of TV programmes by getting pupils to work out what the French phrases are. A game of Splat follows where pupils have to come up to the board and point to the type of programme shouted out by the teacher.</p>
