Key Stage 3 Science Revision SoW

(1)

A 15-lesson scheme of work including 3 biology lessons, 3 chemistry lessons, 4 physics lessons, 2 HSW lessons, 3 tests and 3 ‘extension to GCSE skills’ lessons. Suitable for home learning if necessary as there are lots of activities such as gapfills, match-ups, labelling diagrams and quick quizzes.

This is based on AQA’s key stage 3 science syllabus, it includes almost everything except a few chemistry topics such as separating mixtures, diffusion, and chemical reaction types (e.g. exo/endothermic), which I didn’t have time to include, and some biology topics such as movement.

These were written for 90-minute lessons so will need splitting out for shorter lessons.

I’m attaching the ‘handouts’ which can be printed by or for students to fill in as they / you are going along the slides, as well as the presentations and the answers.
