A Powerpoint of 90+ Pages designed as an artist and inspiration starting point for students. <br /> <br /> This is aimed at photography students so majority are photographers.<br /> <br /> The whole class is then divided into six and goes around to each table to discuss ideas and add to a mind map about 'Places, People etc.' and then every 5 minutes they rotate.<br /> <br /> They have 10 minutes at the end to start writing up their mind map.<br /> <br /> Plenary is to tell me their inspiration for their first Photography shoot that will be completed for next week.<br /> <br /> - Students loved it - lots of contemporary artists and LOADS of different ideas coming through by the end of the first lesson.

A SOW/PP for an Islamic Art project. Students are introduced to Islamic art and its main elements. They are then asked to create an 8 point star pattern using all three elements (includes step by steps and images). They then learn about tessellation and design a tile that can be tesselated to form a pattern (we did this with erasers and cut away with a paper clip - like a small lino print, again step by steps are shown.) This could then progress onto a larger lino print.
