Year nine fairy-tales.

These are some of the PowerPoint's that work alongside my Fairy-tales scheme of work. For the assessment lesson there are differentiated assessment tasks for students.

I used this scheme will two year ten groups. Each lesson they work towards creating a new scene incorporating different drama skills such as ; Marking the moment, dance, thought tracking, soliloquy, improvisation and devising. There are more lessons in this scheme to follow, it's just not letting me upload them! So reformatting them. If you have enough lessons you could give them rehearsal sessions in between moving to the next theme and scene.

Used with year seven and eight. Aims to give students an insight to Shakespeare and his plays. Could be used before looking at one particular play. Explores use of language, archetypes, themes and context. Students work towards devising their own Shakespeare style performance.

These were used for year ten AQA Performing Arts Skills development lessons as stand alone lessons.
