<p>A 10 lesson Unit plan based around the story of The Diary of a Killer Cat.<br /> This unit will help children understand points of view and writing in a first person narrative.<br /> Focuses on both reading and responding and grammar for writing.<br /> Short writing opportunities include a crime report and a recount in role.<br /> Shared writing opportunties include using noun phrases, subordinating conjunctions and speech marks. Independent write: diary entry as the character Tuffy.</p> <p>Resources included in the folder also.</p> <p>Feel free to adapt for your class as needed.</p>
