Each block contains a letter or letters which is a key word or phrase from the topic. Statements to go with each of the letters are to be found on the right hand side of the sheet. Here are a few resources for the nervous system and reflex actions topic. Suitable for KS3 or KS4. There are diagrams to label, a sequence /card sort activity, some starter / HOT task ideas which could also be used as plenaries, and some example 6 mark (QER) questions to analyse before writing their own. I used mini whiteboards for the ‘if this is the answer’ plenary using the flashcards. Hope they are useful. Feedback appreciated.

Suitable for all age groups and subjects. Learners could work alone or in pairs / teams to think of key words from the topic or previous lesson that start with each letter of the alphabet. They may not be able to find a word for all of the letters of the alphabet but you could set a time limit and see who can get the most in the time. Sorry for the quality of the image.
