This is a full lesson which I did with a top-set year nine class. In this lesson students complete a carousel activity which explores different areas of Dickens' life, and then they use that information to write their own recipe for Charles Dickens.<br /> <br /> This lesson includes:<br /> PowerPoint<br /> Carousel Sheets (5 in total, all about Dickens' life)<br /> Carousel Investigation Sheet (for students to record their findings)<br /> Dickens Recipe Checklist (students can tick off the success criteria for the task)<br /> Help Sheet (gives more pointers on the recipe task for LA)<br /> Extension Task (for HA and quick finishers)<br /> Taylor Swift WAGOLL (an example of a recipe for Taylor Swift which will help students to know what you're looking for)<br /> Lesson Plan<br /> <br /> You may find that this can be split over two lessons for some groups!
