Here is a contextual studies prompt sheet designed to encourage students to make their research relevant and connected to their own practical work. It can be printed double sided and in colour and A4 or A5. I have used Kusama as an example but it can be adapted to any artist. This resource can be used at KS4 & 5 and Level 2 and 3 UAL Art & Design.

This worksheet is a cover worksheet aimed at GCSE Art & Design students but can be used for all Key Stages. It can be used as a more extended task by printing onto better quality paper. This worksheet forms part of a series of tasks designed to fulfill the portfolio brief for the AQA GCSE Art and design course. The work meets the requirements for ‘Assessment Objective 2’ - ‘Experimenting with media and materials’ and forms part of an extended unit ‘Natural Forms’.

This Powerpoint presentation is designed to cover 5 lessons based on the theme of ‘food’. The tasks require basic art materials such as collage papers and paint. This was designed as a year 8 project but could easily be amended to suit up to KS4. I have added links to youtube videos so students can easily access tutorials to support practical work.
