This is a 12 lesson scheme of work (I teach it over two half terms) for KS3 on a script version of Lord of the Flies. It includes lessons with activities and extracts from the script to use in lesson. It explores drama techniques including; using a stimulus to create work, development of character using a script, Improvisation skills, class discussion and debate, split scene.

This is a 6 week (3 lessons a week) intro to Drama at GCSE following the new edexcel syllabus. There are lessons and exercises following the idea of the history of theatre starting with the Greeks and ending with contemporary theatre practitioners such as Frantic Assembly. It includes questions linked to the written paper as homework tasks and any resources needed for the activities.

The sheet breaks down important vocab and it's definition that will be useful in answering questions on performing, designing and directing that the students have to answer on the set text in component 3. <br /> <br /> There is a column for students to mark off when they have been able to use the word in a practice answer.

<p>This is a resource I use at the start of my practical lessons to keep students focussed on thier written exam. 5 questions, 5 mins, 5 marks.</p> <p>It consists of 15 mini quizzes that cover the entire play and get students thinking as an actor, director and designer (the requirements of thier component 3 exam)</p> <p>I have included the answers in the powerpoint and get students to mark their own. I then use them as revision cards for the written exam.</p>

A A3 boardgame for students with key techniques and plays and drama language taught throughout KS3 and 4. <br /> <br /> Roll 2 dice and if it lands on 4 and 2 go along the bottom 4 and up 2 and the person has to talk about whatever the land on in as much detail as possible, this could be timed too. <br /> <br /> Adaptable to can change the images / words for your own.

<p>Easy to use boardgame as a time filler for students who finish activities quickly or as a revision tool.</p> <p>All you need is two dice, throw one for the number across the bottom and the second for the number up the side, whichever square it reveals students should talk about that topic for 30seconds to a minute or their partner could ask them a question on that topic. This could also be used as an independent task writing down answers onto paper.</p>

<p>This is an education pack to accompany the play The White Bike by Tamara von Werthern. It provides teachers or youth theatre leaders with activities to explore the text and how to approach performing the piece as an ensemble.</p>
