Who Dunnit? Chromatography practical

(2)
This PowerPoint is for KS3 students learning about chromatography. This Powerpoint accompanies a practical lesson on chromatography.

The Mona Lisa has been stolen! A letter was recovered at the crime scene. There are 3 suspects: Damian Heist, Vincent Van Gone and Leonardo da Pinchi and 3 different pens have been recovered from the suspects. Student must carry out the chromatography to identify which pen
the letter was written and hence who the culprit is! Pink Panther theme will play throughout the powerpoint.

Slide 6 will need to be changed to show which pens students will have access to to carry out chromatography on. The teacher will have to carry out chromatography beforehand on the pen the letter would have been written so that students can compare their results and conclude who the culprit is. This can be put up on slide 8.
