A set of animated PowerPoints which visually (as best I can anyway) go through the objectives for the Algebra Unit. Its a review, end of unit tool so meant to be used in one lesson rather than a series of lessons. it uses Din0 for a method of calculating linear sequence equations. This is explained as you do the example.

This set of presentations was prepared for children who might need more support with algebra and in particular linear equations. Each ppt, contains various “ex” SATS questions and shows how Din0 can be used to answer them. Animation is included in all to try to show what happens as we work through each stage of the problem. They were trialled with a Year 6 mathematics intervention group.

This spreadsheet records, counts and ranks placings for a school sportsday. Basically for Primary age pupils up to 3 form entry. There is a tab for team events (up to 16 team events by up to 16 teams) - but you can use as many or as few as you wish -(we have red, blue, green and yellow houses and Yr3,4,5 and 6) There are also Year 3,4,5 and 6 tabs for sprints (again 4 houses) and lastly a tab which does the relays. It works really well, saves lots of frantic recording and calculating and makes it a lot easier for the poor scorer. I have been using it for 5 years now. This latest version is a bit tweaked since 2019 - just a few minor changes.

My 100 question tables grid, can be easily changed (by a press of F9,) to randomly produce a grid of 100 tables questions. Two answer sheets are also produced. An identical reference number on both question and answer sheets means its easy to use this with several groups or even individuals in a class . Its quick, easy and saves hours of work.

Din0 is used by many people to teach Linear Equations. This Powerpoint makes it easy to follow, easy to understand and there are some examples to try too.
