This is what we have come up with so far in our planning for the new KS3 English Curriculum. It is obviously still a work in progress. Feel free to use /modify .....
This is designed both for teaching the play and doing exam practice with GCSE Lit classes. I used this with my middle ability class 2015-17, with great results - and they ended up loving Othello!
I originally made this for the Eduquas spec, but am now working in a school that follows AQA, so have adapted the resources. I designed these resources to encourage students to read as each of the extracts is from an easily accessible short story; so once you have done the exam style qs with them you can read the rest of the short story with them. I have, so far, used this with my Y10 classes with great success as the majority of them rarely read!
I designed this initially for middle ability students who don't really read. The extracts are all from easily accessible short stories; so once an extract and its qs have been done, the students can read the short story. I have done this with 4 different classes now and it works well.
