<p>This resource contains over a 100 starter slides which I have created and used within my lesssons throughout the previous academic year. This powerpoint contains starters suitable to use with KS3 classes of all abilities.</p> <p>Each slide contains 5 or 6 questions which is designed to recall and consolidate prior learning in the first 10/15 mins (approx) of a lesson. I try to include 2 easier questions, 2 middle questions and 2 harder questions depending on the ability of the class.</p> <p>Answers are not provided as in my lessons I use a random name generator for 4 of the questions (pupils may choose which question) before quickly going through the other 2 questions. Of course you may prefer to provide answers or do a different approach and thats the beauty of teaching - every class is different and you know what is best for your pupils!</p> <p>I have however found this starter approach massively beneficial and is something which many of my department now use.</p> <p>If you do like this resource I do also have a similar product designed for KS4 classes.</p> <p>Hope you find it useful!</p>
