Red - learners must write the ratio from a picture. Amber - learners simplify 2 part ratios. <p>A crime solving, code breaking activity. Revises multiplication, decimal multiplication, division, decimal addition/subtraction and using BIDMAS/BODMAS.<br /> Pupils answer 5 sets of questions, each on a different topic. The answers (in order) then become a code. Pupils then refer to the crime solving posters (I normally laminate them and set them around the room) To decode the item stolen, the location, the time of day, the motive and ultimately the criminal.<br /> Answers are included on the powerpoint, as is a problem solving starter. The powerpoint and the posters are easily adaptable to change the level of difficulty.</p>

The question slide is set to last 6 minutes, challenging pupils to answer them all before they are caught by Chief Wiggum. The timing can easily be changed on the transitions tab.
