15 full exam-style questions for AQA Power and Conflict poems. There’s one essay for each poem. Word document included so you can edit the questions if desired.

SoW for 15x 70 minute lessons to prepare for English Language GCSE exam.
First half of resources attached here. Remaining resources listed separately as only 20 allowed per upload.

Total of 31 extracts and exam-style questions for Macbeth (AQA). There is at least one extract per scene; some lengthier scenes have two extracts.

Intended as a revision resource.

Word documents, PPTs, card sort and an example fairytale on Microsoft Publisher (pretty much obsolete I know). The unit teaches the conventions of fairy tales and satirical techniques - it is aimed for lower ability students.
All the resources from the SoW (let me know if I've missed any!) plus a couple of additional resources including a sample essay.
I have a feeling I may have downloaded the terminology card sort (W4) three years ago rather than writing it myself: if you wrote it, thank you and let me know if you&'d like it taken down.
SoW for 14x 70 minute lessons to prepare Year 11 for English Language exam.
Word documents under a separate listing as they won't all fit in with these.
A short SOW with supporting articles and resources for the creative writing task write your piece for a newspaper about a TV show you love or loathe. The movie clip was randomly selected from a Youtube search for ‘Spooks’. This is for Controlled Assessment to be submitted in 2013.W3 is 'The Ugly Face of Beauty&' but for some reason is not correctly named.
Had to remove W12 Student Copy as there were too many documents. Just rearrange the paragraphs on W12 Teacher Copy to recreate it!
These documents and the SoW go with a separate listing containing all the PPTs and PDFs mentioned in the SoW.
14x 70 minute lessons.

Four extracts from each stave of A Christmas Carol each with an exam-style question. The questions become more conceptual and the passages shorter as the book goes on, hoping to allow students to refine their skills and be ready for a fiendish or a straightforward exam question.

The PPTs and remaining PDFs are listed separately as only 20 files can be uplaoded under one resource.
Due to limits on upload space two resources are not listed: W11 I'm Not Scared student copy ( just jumble up W12 teacher copy) and W14 which are just AQA&'s exam mark schemes, downloadable from AQA website.
Animal Farm activities and complete Scheme of Work to go with Macbeth resources. Study 'conflict&' and compare these two texts.

Some resources have been at my school for some years and I cannot claim ownership of every single resource.

Please contact me if you wish me to remove a resource you originally created.
Creative Writing SOW for writing based on AQA Anthology poetry.
I do not claim to have created all resources - some are reused from the old spec.
Movie clips all taken from Youtube.
For comparison with Animal Farm (full SoW not yet completed but will upload resources as soon as it is).

The PDF resources used came from Teachit and should be easily downloadable from there if you have a membership - I do not claim ownership but have merely incorporated them into a 15 hour unit of work for AQA Shakespeare and ELH Controlled Assessment.
Please contact me if you wish me to remove a resource that you created that I have included here.
Activity book to take low ability Year 8 students through 10 lessons based on China. The skills focus is on making inferences, selecting appropriate evidence and writing PEE paragraphs, as well as writing comprehension answers in full sentences. The Zodiac storyboard is to consolidate understanding of the reading material. The list of names in Chinese contains some common names and is just an idea for how to present these to students for their use in making kites. I found the word version of The All American Slurp online.
These resources are for first teaching of Paradise Lost Books 9 and 10 for A Level. We will compare it with A Doll's House for the A Level exam.
The resources are designed for flipped learning: students complete wider reading (titles listed but I can't post here due to copyright; most are available from JSTOR or elsewhere online) before each lesson and fill in the blank proforma each week; teachers all have a pre-populated copy ready for discussion.
Please also see my other resources for side by side modern translations of Books 9 and 10 in full.
Students also receive pre-reading questions for each section of the text. I will add these when we have finished formatting them in full.
