It has a full PP with questions and also, the article, with questions also on there. It also has a descriptive writing task. This could last over a couple of lesson easily.</p>

It includes micro-summaries of each story, plus important A02 language points to note and respond to in the exam. This is not meant to be a substitute for reading, but it is a very good way to recap what happens in the stories and their themes and language points.</p>

This is a unique resource that uses the song 'Where the wild roses grow' by Nick Cave (featuring Kylie Minogue) It is aimed at Year 9 students but could also be used for a range of year groups (maybe a bit too 'edgy' for year 7) The aim of the lesson is to look at the language and voices in the song and to write own murder ballad. There is also a 'confession letter' activity and other suggested activities. This is a resource that could easily last over three or four lessons if you wanted it to.

This focuses on when Macbeth and Banquo meet the witches on the heath. The lesson objective is to compare how they both react. The PEEL method is introduced in this lesson.

<p>This is an original resource created by the author. It can be used for any key stage studying World War One or War Poetry. It has already been tried and tested on a year 8 class and was received enthusiastically.</p>

<p>This was originally published on here over 10 years ago under a different account of mine. It got TES PICK at the time and was reviewed very favourably. It is a four week scheme comparing the Japanese anime film ‘Spirited Away’ with Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ - as fantasy genre. I have not included text extracts with this as teachers can easily find the text online and copy and paste accordingly. It is not necessary actually to have the text - you can just use the film media if you want.</p>
