Fully resourced form/PHSE SoW - Empathy, Poverty and Making a Difference
Save yourself preparation time by using this fantastic set of 5, completely finished, original form time / PHSE resources!

This sequence of lessons explores what reasons we have to help other people, and the best strategies for actually helping them. It comes with engaging powerpoints and optional worksheets. There are also clear instruction sheets, with recommendations for further reading for teachers, though the powerpoints are self-explanatory.

IMPORTANT: This is the initial launch and trial of the resource. We therefore ask that anyone using the resources give some feedback at the end of the set of lessons. I will create a questionnaire / survey for you if you are interested. Please contact Jamie Harris through TES or on his email address james_a_harris [at] hotmail.co.uk to let him know you are using the resources.

These lessons are launched in cooperation with two charities: Students for High-Impact Charity ( https://shicschools.org/ ) whose original resources these lessons are adapted from, and The Life You Can Save ( https://www.thelifeyoucansave.org/ ), who pay for the Giving Game in Level 3.

Although intended to be fully adaptable, the resources here are complete and ready for teaching in 5 x 20 minute sessions, or "levels" as we cal them.
