<p>This is an excel document that generates combinations of nouns, adverbs and verbs from a short list within it. The list can be altered!</p>
<p>A good exercise for low ability literacy classes is to get them to use the words generated to write progressively more complex sentences, and get them to vary the tense and word order.<br />

<p>This lesson revises Lady Macbeth’s role in the play, and involves the students recapping each of her scenes, and identifying key quotations to show her characteristics. My set are a mid/low set, so much of my challenge was verbal differentiation & extension.</p>
<p>A ‘mad-libs’ style activity to encourage students to form interesting and detailed sentences, by getting them to fill in the gaps with appropriate words.</p>

They have a choice of themes, and have to compare to a different poem per theme.<br />
The idea is to create a revision resource.</p>
