<p>A fun beginning to Unseen Poetry using Eminem as a stimulus.</p> <p>Students begin by studying the chorus of one of his songs (hopefully no students will recognise it) before analysing it in more detail.</p> <p>I found most students engaged very well with a slightly different introduction to their poetry SoW.</p>

<p>An eye catching classroom display to fill a board, or to act as a time line around the top of the room.</p> <p>100 of the most famous literary figures from history, complete with:</p> <ul> <li>Their birth date</li> <li>Their death date (“Present” if still alive)</li> <li>A portrait/picture of the author</li> <li>Their most famous literary works, coded as either novel, poem, play, short story or screen play.</li> </ul> <p>Largely based on my own opinions of famous literary figures, but fully adaptable Word Document format means it can be changed to suite your own preferences!</p>
