Easter Assembly/Play telling the Christian meaning of Easter. Based on the Oxford Reading Tree Characters - Biff, Chip, Kipper etc. - and written for younger children although can be adapted for older age group. The children talk about chicks, chocolate, hot cross buns etc. then go on a magic adventure to the time of Jesus. The Easter story is then explained in a simple and age-appropriate way. Clearly written script with stage directions and song suggestions, mainly from Out of the Ark.
