<p>This is a resource which teaches students the basics of plastics (polymers). This is linked to the GCSE curriculum, but could be taught for Year 9. This then develops into a project looking at prosthetics. Thinking on the lines of…if there were prosthetics when the dinosaurs were roaming, would they still be here?</p> <p>The focus is on design and development rather than making a dinosaur leg. There are loads of opportunities to design and develop and model. I have added in examples to show you.</p>
