KS3 Drama scheme of work on the Gresford Disaster for distance learning

(0)

This scheme of work was adapted from one intended for practical drama lessons for students to instead complete as distance learning. Students will learn about the Gresford Disaster: watch and listen to clips, develop creative writing skills (monologues and news paper reports) and explore different people’s perspectives in the disaster. There are approximately six hours of learning and space for students to complete work in the powerpoint or this resource can be printed out.

Don’t re-invent the wheel!
My 29 page drama learning logbook is designed to accompany my school’s drama curriculum, however, feel free to use this as a template for a drama book to document your pupils’ year of learning. Complete with self-reflection and retrieval exercises, challenge tasks, space for vocabulary tests, it covers topics: safe working, physical theatre, naturalistic acting, devising drama and performance techniques. However, if you have your own schemes of work in operation, this is still fully adaptable for your own needs.
