<p>A simple calendar with pictures for the month of Ramadan for students to colour each day as it passes. Reinforce counting, reviewing the current point on the calendar. The pictures are all related to ramadan: praying, giving charity, mosque, moon, sun, kabaa, calling for prayer, reading quran, fanoos lantern, ramadan foods. Designed for Reception year but may be useful for Primary also. An exercise identifying pictures that are the same is included. The month of Ramadan has 29 or 30 days - depending on the moon sighting, followed by the celebration of Eid.</p>
Research a Country!
Student project hand out suitable for Primary students to research about a country, make a word wall on a particular topic area, to create a word cloud online, write a journal article.

A teacher plan and a brainstorm guideline is included and a completed sample word cloud for the country of Kuwait.
A higher level project is also included for Middle/High school students.
At the end - the class should have a variety of information to fully cover doing presentations/displays.
