I have taken some parts from another downloaded resource!<br /> <br /> This ppt focuses on AQA English Language paper 2.<br /> It asks students to debate and then write a broadsheet newspaper on the topic of the death penalty.<br /> The statement given is: ' ‘The death penalty is an appropriate way to serve justice.’ This was taken from a previously downloaded PPT from TES. <br /> I added a persuasive point score board to encourage students to write more creatively. <br /> Aimed at core/lower KS4 class.

This 32 slide resource includes; model answers, youtube links, annotated stanzas and exam style questions on the poems. <br /> <br /> Activities are group and individual and conforms to a teacher-led style lesson.<br /> <br /> I have taken some slides/ideas from other ppt I have found or downloaded.

The ppt uses thought provoking questions, peer assessment and encourages students to analyse the meaning/tone/language/structure through the use of prompt questions.
