Lesson based on how laws changed throughout the 1930s Students will assess how severe these laws were by plotting on a line graph. The power point is my own work yet I have used resources from other uploads to compliment the work including the IOE.

A lesson focusing on the reforms after the second world war. How the government tackled the five giants identified by Beveridge. Can be used for KS3 or KS4.

A fully resourced lesson focusing on how mass migration led to significant social problems and the steps taken by the federal and state governments to combat this. <br /> The lesson is designed for one hour and enables students to challenge themselves with the more rigorous content of the 9-1 spec.<br /> A key words section is also included and a teacher version of the student activity sheet with the answers completed.

A look at The March on Washington during the American Civil Rights movement with an investigation of how effective it was. Sources activity requires students to look at both sides of the argument and there is also a cooperative learning structure in place to allow students to share ideas before building their own extended learning answer.

Lesson 1 to explain to students why domestic violence was not a crime prior to 1970. It focuses on what Domestic Violence is and the impact modern day and then asks students to evaluate the impact of problems facing the authorities pre 1970.
