I wanted this story to use with my class as a word document. It wasn’t available so thought I would take the time to do it and then share it! I have kept the story as originally written except for the middle part where all the activities are .

An assembly PPT aimed at KS2. Tried to simplify language and make it succinct.

Made this for a Cornerstones unit. Thought it could be blown up to A3 size and used as a banner for the unit.

A powerpoint with music based on circus theme. Equipment needs to be scaled up and down for elephants and fleas - will make sense when viewed! Will also upload the sheep powerpoint which is not mine but was altered to suit this theme.

These sheets use the Argos flyer Valentine's Day to give the pupils one and two step problems. It was made for Year 6 pupils who are working at securing level3 and one has simpler options than the other. The booklet it refers to is out now but they could be used to suit any flyer from Argos. Gives pupils real life problems to relate to and the bonus of being hand on and searching for the prices etc.

A quiz for children to practice using an atlas index and learning the difference between continents and countries. Ordered easy to hard with an answer sheet for adults. Also has 2 definitions to show the pupils how to tell the difference.

This is an assembly my class did to tie into our weather topic. We chose the Japan tsunami and linked it to the floods in Doncaster. My year 3 had no problems with the words once we had gone through and practised how to say them.

Year 3 biography model text with a follow up short comprehension

Designed for a Year 3 class to help them identify verbs,adjectives and adverbs. This is based on a Stig of the Dump extract with extra words put in. There are 3 levels of differentiation with LAPs identifying verbs and adjectives.Can be up leveled or simplified.

Wanted to link pop art with weather around the world and came up with this planning. The power point introduces Warhol and is an altered version of someoneelses so I can't lay claim to it all. See what you think. We also did ICT lessons linked to this that were quite good. The art was linked to primary and secondary colours as that was identified as a big gap.

Based on White Rose small steps document - this is a template for the children to multiply 2 digits by 1 digits [Year 3 LO ]. Can be easily altered to suit. It has a space for the calculation to be recorded, the correct number of boxes when multiplying by 2,3 or 4 where the tens sticks and units can be drawn and a total box. May need to reformatted!

Full set of planning including slides, resources etc for forces planning. Experiments based on the fact that we did not have many resources!

This is a sheet I tweaked for my Year 3 class to add speech punctuation to. We are using Cave Boy and thought this would follow the theme. Can be made harder to suit.
