Preferably suited to high ability groups as it is quite detailed and one that stretches the imagination. Often get complaints from pupils that don't watch Dr Who but the booklet asks them to use their imaginations so that they don&'t really need to watch the show to complete the work.

This worksheet was inspired by our year 6 pupils visit to an exhibition concerning Anne Frank. This writing task should allow pupils the opportunity to put themselves in Anne's shoes and also write two fictional diary entries. Pupils may need to carry out at least an hours worth of historical research concerning Anne Frank before attempting this task.

OMG is and of KS2 style Longer Writing task that requires pupils to imagine that their celebrity hero is visiting the school for the day. This task requires that pupils use a little dialogue to enable them to fulfill AF6 'speech punctuation&' and also elements of AF3 &';organize ideas logically'.
