<p>This Powerpoint displays a word of the week for all 39 school weeks suitable for KS3 pupils. Each slide contains the word, word class, definition, and an example in a sentence for context.<br /> The Powerpoint can be displayed on TV screens around school for literacy visibility or slides printed off for display in classrooms or around school.<br /> An idea is to award merits for students who correctly use the word of the week in a piece of work in any subject across the curriculum.</p>

<p>This book review template encourages students to think more deeply about what they have read and it is designed to deter flat responses.</p> <p>You can make a wall display with them, use them as a rewarded promotion across the school, or set it as a homework after completing a class reader.</p>
