Booklet for food studies groups. I use this for year 7 but could be suitable for year 8. I have my kids for 17 weeks so obviously if you have them for a shorter time you could take bits out.
I have attached additional resources such as the fish ppt. used for the fish lesson, bread pictures , questions for use with the saturated fat video, and amounts of salt in foods, the recipe book I give out to the kids and an optional end of topic test. TEACHER BOOKLET with learning objectives and answers is also attached.

Includes:

Lesson plan with L.Os

Power-point with notes on questioning

A3 booklet that you fold without using staples or glue - this is a handy little booklet that I teach my students how to make for revision purposes. Can be done in the lesson (time permitting) or you can fold the booklets for students.
Font used if MILKHONEY in dafont (download if you don’t have, or change for one you have!)

Sheet explaining how to fold up the booklet (can be a bit complicated!)

A nice lesson that can be done very quickly or expanded on for a longer lesson. Can be used for Year 7/8/9.

Year 10 booklets cover most topics of the AQA/other exam boards spec. Some stuff is a bit boring but I have had positive feedback from the kids as they promote learning, revision and get them prepped for a variety of different topics. ‘Teacher versions’ of these booklets are on here so you can project what tasks the kids have to do.
Long term SoW now added and just first term of short term sow. The SoW is my own but followed the AQA recommendations (2014). These need updating with new textbook pages (depending on what you use!) but should be very adaptable to new specs. Can also use lots of the sheets/booklets for younger year groups depedning on ability.
