Used to introduce rounding with year 3 students - 3 differentiated worksheets attached. Achievement of LO: All children able to round a two and three digit number. Higher achievers went on to rounding decimal numbers. Note: If I was to repeat this lesson I would given slightly more questions during independent activities as all were finished faster than expected. Hope this helps other students!

Finding Exact Trig Values - Discovery Learning

(18)
This worksheet encourages students to become familiar with 'special triangles' to calculate exact trig values without a calculator. By focusing on multiples of 30, 45 and 60, it also helps students spot symmetry in graphs. I created this resources to introduce double angle formula/additonal formula. Answers attached :)

Rearranging Formulae - Common Misconceptions - Spot the Mistakes!!

(4)
This worksheet is aimed at those studying higher tier GCSE Maths.

Students are given 8 questions which have been incorrectly completed. They must spot the mistake and write the correct answer in the middle column. The third column is to write down in words what the person has done wrong (good for summarising/useful for revision).

This is a useful activity for pair work/group work! Rather than me telling students to watch out for common errors, by the end of the lesson the students were able to tell me where the person went wrong! A challenging but effective revision lesson.

ANSWERS INCLUDED :)
