This powerpoint is used along side the Oxford AQA A2 Chemistry text book. Designed to generate discussion about mechanisms and allow the pupils to come up with the mechanisms. It doesn't contain the actual mechanism i.e curly arrows, but provides hints and explanation to what is happening. The pupils use the page references to check answers etc. This worked really well during a recent revision morning. Hope it helps.
PowerPoint on some Unit 4 mechansisms. Based on OXBOX worksheet. The answers are included, with page numbers refering to the Oxford AQA Chemistry A2 text book.
A powerpoint I used with a low ability group, focussing on identifying properties of graphite, diamond and silicon dioxide. I put a few 'other non science questions' to keep the activity rolling. This was used during an ofsted inspection and it went down very well.
