A series of English lessons for Y5 pupils including oracy, reading and writing tasks based around the story of Theseus and the Minotaur. A really enjoyable teaching unit which I have used for many years with really good outcomes.

A useful resource for English/Literacy Coordinators which includes a vision, aims and a motto as well as a list of non-negotiables to guide staff in the teaching of English/literacy.

Useful maths weekly plan for Y5 that includes direct number skills and opportunities for application, warm ups and differentiated activities within a fun and purposeful context culminating in building a bonfire and planning a party. Could be taught over a two week period.
