This is a unit, designed for Scottish National 5 (equivalent of GCSE), on Jackie Kay’s short story ‘These are not my Clothes’. There is a powepoint, a table for quotations and some example essays.

A mini unit focusing on camera, typography, use of colour and genre conventions. The unit leads to analysis of the poster. This was created for a lower-ability Scottish S2 class (Year 8).

This was created for Scottish Higher English, but could be adapted for Advanced Higher / A Level etc. This is a full unit on the novel ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ by Margaret Atwood.
