This is short unit of work that introduces students to A-level Media Studies. It is designed to enable students who haven’t studied Media before to get an understanding of the course and for student’s with some prior knowledge to develop their understanding further.

This is a set of resources to run alongside a weekly (hourly) book club session. The book we looked at (over Autumn term 1) was All the Broken Places - the sequel to The Boy in the Striped Pjs. Alongside the questions and reading are other books (I shared the opening page from Amazon or used a visualizer) in order for students to guess the book before revealing.

A complete unit of work - spanning over 6 weeks. It covers some of Blake’s and Wordsworth’s most famous poems, as well as encouraging pupils to analyse and evaluate, it also provides opportunity to write their own. Suitable for upper KS2 and lower ability KS3. The folder includes an MTP and knowledge organiser.
