In this EYFS / KS1 maths resource, pupils practise addition within 10 using the counting on method and begin to read, write and interpret mathematical statements involving addition and equals signs as per the statutory requirements of the year 1 maths programme of study (Number - addition and subtraction). Content includes:

• Adding two groups by counting on explanation
• Counting on addition activity with accompanying worksheet
• 1 further worksheet with answers
• A link to an addition game
• 1 colouring page
