A 'cluedo' style activity, 12 questions and the possibility to find 12 clues to find who did it, with what weapon in what room!
I run the activity as an independent one, I put the markscheme at the side of the room. Once pupils have self-marked they come and show me, and I give them a clue (I number the clues 1-12 so I can show the same one for each question to prevent cheating). Then have a little prize (merits / stickers / sweets) for the first person to finish. You can, however, adapt it how you would like.
This was designed for my very able KS4 group (approx. 40 mins - 1 hour length depending on ability). Separate resource available for a lower ability KS4 group / high ability KS3.
